Ibis Brussels Erasmus

We booked this for my 34th birthday, and after requesting a nice room that management would recommend, we arrived and checked into a great room with chocolates and a happy birthday note left in the room. The staff were extremely helpful and couldn't have provided a better service. Jude on reception in particular was great. He loaned me a travel adapter when we arrived and on our second evening, I suffered a bout of Ill health due to raised blood pressure. Jude helped provide a bag of ice to bring my temperature down and then called paramedics to treat me. We were so grateful for Jude's help and I'm sad that we didn't get to say goodbye when we checked out yesterday as he was off shift. If management read this, please send our thanks again to Jude. He is an asset to your hotel and great staff member to your team. In regards to the room, the bed was super comfortable and perfect size for us. The location is 20 minutes metro ride into central Brussels and the station itself is a 5 minute walk. The only thing I'd say is that the food was a bit bland and overpriced. Overall though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Clean room with just enough space for my husband and I for our stay in Brussels. Great spread for breakfast in the morning too. We didn't prepay for breakfast to be included, but we did purchase it on our last day. There was lots to choose from and it cost 17€ per person. Parking was also available for our rental car in a gated parking lot on site, which was nice, and the cost was 10€/day which honestly is a great price, especially for the Brussels area. The metro stop is a quick 3 min walk down the road so you can easily get in and out of the city with a problem. This made the location prime! There is also someone at the reception desk 24/7, which is great. You can also order lunch and dinner from the bar if you are wanting anything.

-very nice location: safe, green and a few min away from Erasmus metro station (last stop - so you always get a seat departing for the Brussels centre) :) - very nice and responsive staff; - very nice breakfast; - nice selection of other meals through the day; - I loved their coffee and I drunk quite a lot if it; - wifi worked really well - I did some work from my hotel room with no problems while logging into my work system (with the launch of all related work apps which do require good wifi connection). I will consider staying there again while in Brussels!

It’s clean and comfortable for a couple of nights. The breakfast was quite good, there are a lot of options. They also have a bar and laundry services if needed. The staff were lovely and helpful. There is a metro station about 5 mins from the hotel which is good for getting to the city centre and to the zuid train station.

Staff were friendly and check in was easy. Convenient for public transport.
